Second Set Of Eyes

Everyone scrambled and struggled to keep up with me. I don't know why I was so frustrated. Maybe all of the extra baggage of more people to look after. I feel like I'm their leader now, and in a way, babysitter.

Anyways. Peter still trailed behind.

He's such a fearless young man and luck follows him.

He takes a great deal of care by himself and uses all of his senses.

He's a second set of eyes and I knew all along he was following...

...and other monsters followed too.

Lizard Walks Away

I think the lizard was a Momma.

After the incident with Jenna, the big, blue lizard climbed higher into the trees with a very small lizard in tow. It was pretty cute, but I'm not going to tell Jenna that.

This was the only shot I got of them climbing away, and it's hard to see the baby lizard below the Mother's tail, on the right.

Just another thing to look out for in Reality Forest. At least we know it's not so dangerous.

Clumsy Lizard

Luckily for Jenna the giant blue lizard was clumsy and fell out of the tree. It let go of Jenna.

Jenna lay there trembling and crying with a very soar arm.

She told Rachel and Jayson it didn't have any teeth and it was just gumming her arm.
"It was so disgusting! It felt like it was going to suck my arm off." Jenna cried.

Rachel comforted Jenna, "It'll be okay, Jenna. You'll see. You don't deserve to have anything sucked off."

Gina looked at me as if I had an answer. I didn't know if it would be okay either, but we had to have hope.

Jenna Gets Attacked

Jenna screamed. "Get it off me. Get it off me. Aughhhhhhhhh!" Her screams were piercing.

Jayson tried to pull Jenna away from the giant lizard. He pulled very hard, but this lizard pulled harder.



Rachel wasn't sure what to do. She was scared stiff.



"Please help me! It's hurting my arm! Help me!" Jenna still screamed.

Rachel reached in to help.

Jenna was about to faint.

We were losing Jenna.

Almost To The Waterfall

We continued towards the waterfall. We were almost there.

The girls did a great job being quiet. I think Rachel was coming along with her attitude too. Silence sure is bliss.

I could hear the sound of the waterfall in the distance. We were getting close.

"Can you hear that?" Rachel pointed out. "It's the waterfall."

As she spoke, something grabbed Jenna.

Lizard In The Tree

We finally decided to turn back. Jayson lead the way.

Reality Forest always has the strangest and weirdest noises.
Animals including birds and lizards make up a lot of the noises.

One of the scariest noises you'll ever hear in Reality Forest, is a scream.

Gina got excited, "Oh cute! Look at the little lizard in the tree. It's checkin' me out. Even the lizard knows how hot I am."



Jayson sounded unsure in the front. "I'm pretty sure this is the way we came."

I assured him he was going in the right direction.

Jayson also had an idea, "Maybe we should try calling out their names so they can hear us!"

"We already told you. We can't be hollering and screaming drawing attention to ourselves. You just attract trouble. You have to remember, we're the prey in Reality Forest."

Gina turned back and asked why I had to be so harsh.

"This is reality," I answered, "Reality Forest!"

Here Lizard Lizard

This cute little thing was crawling on the rocks near my stream.

I've seen lizards bigger than this so when I say little I mean little.

Find The Creatures Of Reality Forest

If you look closely in these next few pictures, you'll find lots of interesting creatures. There are at least six creatures in each picture.

 

If you were trapped here, like me, this is what you would live with every day.

At night it gets so dark you can only hear what's slithering and crawling around you.

The ant on the right is as big as my shoe. 

The smaller ants are just a bit smaller than my hand. 

The prayingmantis on the other side of the stream, on the bush, is about waist high on me. 

The little turtles are miraculously normal size and can fit in my hand.

Upright Lizard

If you look on top of the rock you'll see a grey lizard standing upright. It moved pretty fast when I got closer but this was the best shot I took. All of the other pix turned out blurry.

 

Walking Dragon

Not sure what kind of lizard this is but it sure had a nasty disposition.
I took pictures of him and let him go on his way. He looked a bit pissed off with me.


He had very tall fins coming out of his back.


I just let him walk away.

Lizard Looking At Me Like I Was Food

Caught this creepy thing looking at me.
I backed up slowly and didn't ask any questions.
I didn't want to know how big it was or even if it eats people.
Can't say I'd like to run into this creepy thing again anytime soon.
Nice to know I share my home with this animal.

Blue Lizard At Night

I wonder if this little guy can change colours. I'm sure it was feeling a little blue after I snapped this pic. That was a poor attempt at a joke.

Cobra & Lizard

I'm learning the animals here have no fear of people.
This snake and lizard were going at it and I edged in closer to get these shots.
I suppose I could have gotten hurt pretty bad, but then folks cruising on the world wide web would never get to see what Reality Forest really looks like.

Little Lizard

Snapped a pic of this cute little guy chillin out the other day. Almost stepped on him he was so well hidden on the ground.
Sure are a lot of friggin lizards in this forest.

Big Ant Eating Lizard

Boy did I get lucky today. I was lucky enough to snap a pic of this big lizard eating ants.
He didn't seem to mind me being so close.
He looked like he was really enjoying the ants.
From what I've seen in this forest, this ugly thing has a lot of meals to finish.
