I was loading some pix before I went to sleep.
The solar charger on this thing won't last much longer tonight.
Pretty exhausting day today and it was pretty warm. I spent most of it walking and searching for food.
Gotta catch some Z's.
Night Night.
These are vines with blue flowers. They seemed to be growing downwards where I found them. They were a bit strange looking but still pretty cool.
Reality Forest just never stops surprising me.
Another self pic.
This time, I knew something was in the background. It was a snail.
This snail's shell was about as large as my head. It was a very nice looking snail.
If I was a snail, I'd want to get all up in that shell.
Had a very very strange dream last night. I dreamed I had chains wrapped around me again, but this time, I wore angel wings.
Too bad I couldn't dream of giving myself a halo.
I saw some leaves moving and this cute little thing was eating worms underneath. Quite the treasure trove this green beetle found.
Guess it pays to be green.
I find in Reality Forest, lots of the insects tend to grow quite large. I suppose when you have no natural enemies your species tends to grow bigger than normal.
Flies are a common sight in this forest. They grow to be very, very large.
I tried to get a picture of my hand with the fly to show how big they actually grow.
I'd hate to see the pile of crap this one lands on.
I guess Reality Forest can support quite a number of species of animals. The grass on the ground is quite moist and this frog was having himself a snack of dew drenched grass blades and baby insect larva. Quite a happy looking frog.
I was taking a picture of myself and this big, delicious snake decided to sneak in the picture.
This one's a little smaller than the one I saw the other day.
Snakes still give me the creeps. Eww!!
This is the second juicy spider I've seen today. I didn't get a good enough shot of it because it's so friggin dark in this forest, but this big, meat-eating spider almost nabbed this cute little bluejay sitting in a tree.
I used my zoom to get a picture of these two.
This little guy was more curious about me than I was of him. I put the camera on automatic timer and he just happened to walk on by.
If he wasn't the size of my hand I'd think he was kinda cute.
Here's one of the giant ants on a branch. In this pic it looks pretty small.
I wonder what they taste like. Maybe they're kind of tasty dipped in chocolate.
On second thought, I'll just stick with berries and fish.
Yikes is the only thing I'm going to say about this big snake. This is the biggest one I've seen so far. As soon as it saw me it slithered away. Must not like people too much.
The thing was beautiful with its yellow, black and red skin. Easily at least two meters long.
Waking up in the morning in Reality Forest takes getting used to. When you wake up in a different place every morning it disorients you. You lose direction, get confused, stumble and fall. Kinda like a morning after a one-night-stand back in the city.
So I fell flat on my face this morning. I didn't even have time to put my hands in front of my face.
I fell into a branch and that broke my fall.
My arm will heal quick enough.
Peace Out.
It's the middle of the night and I had the chain dream again. I didn't think I'd have this dream again but I did.
I had a woody when I woke up. Just took care of it.
Gotta get back to sleep.
This big spider sure startled me.
After I got my heart started back up, I took some snapshots and watched this big thing attack a bird. Just sitting there in the tree and then it attacks a bird. And then eats it. Whole.
This is me lost in Reality Forest.
I guess all the pictures I post on here are of me lost in Reality Forest.
One day it will be nice to see a city again with people, and hot dogs, and balloons, and cars.
I've got to pull myself together before I start losing it.
But what's wrong with wanting out of this place?
Am I going crazy yet?
This big thing scared the poop out of me today. When you're in Reality Forest, you have to get used to these nasty things. They are everywhere. This one was almost as long as i am tall. There are big ones and little ones.
They seem to only eat other bugs.
When you see one, especially one this size, it always scares you.
Yesterday I had a pretty wicked dream. My fantasy chick was in the dream and looking like pudding on a spoon.
The moment before you take the spoon in your mouth and your mouth is watering so much you swallow like a fish, that's how she looked.
Of course if I was living in the city, I'd still be having this hot dream.
Reality Forest or not, she's still smokin'.
Snapped a pic of this cute little guy chillin out the other day. Almost stepped on him he was so well hidden on the ground.
Sure are a lot of friggin lizards in this forest.
You know those strange days when you have a thought in your head and can't shake it.
I was thinking of the movie King Kong today. I love the movie King Kong. It's one of the first I can clearly remember seeing at the movie theatre. I love the creepy black & white texture of the movie. The heroin was beautiful, even in her ragged state of being lost with no way out of the forest.
Her only companionship, a big ape.
I should stop typing now because I certainly don't want a big ape for company. Got to keep my eyes and ears open in this place.
Well the day turned out to be quite beautiful. I didn't do too much walking today. I just hung out. I checked out some of the plants and animals.
I may settle around here. There seems to be enough food and water in the area. And I can build a hut with some of the wood and large leaves. I hope I find more people in this forest. It's really getting lonely here.
When I was a small doll, Reality Forest was the scariest fairytale I'd ever read. Now I'm grown and I'm trapped in the fairytale. My name is Matthew, and these are my adventures in Reality Forest.
