The Other Pix From My Day Alone

This gigantic beetle scared the crap out of me the other day. It ran out from under a bush I was walking past. It didn't move fast but his clippers sure did.


I tried to get a good shot of it as it was crawling away. Didn't work very well.


So I walked backwards as it was running away from me.
This bug is bigger than my torso.
Can't imagine why it was afraid of me.
Nice markings on it.
