Finding A Stockpile Of Grass

Here is a nice abundant area of grass Gina and I knew of. We thought we could dry some out. It's a very delicate grass and soft to the touch. I don't think it will dry very well as it's too delicate. We need a grass that will withstand the elements and the bugs.
A lot of insects here will eat the grass dry, because they prefer it that way.
Some eat it while it's living but dead plants are a rarity here.
We'll have to stick to rocks as markers.
